What is your favorite part about working in this medium?

I live in my sketchbook and work on a computer so I love the fact that with plush, I can literally hand someone a tangible object and say here, check this out...I made it!

What is your background?

I'm an animator/illustrator at heart with an MFA in animation. Right now, I'm the director of the video and animation department at a multi-media company.

Favorite crafty tool?

Easy threading needles all the way!

Favorite fall activity?

This one's a toss up between drinking way too much of chai tea and driving very fast through piles of leaves on the sides of roads.

Did you have any inspiration behind the toys you are submitting for Plush You!?

I guess I've been on a bird and mustache kick lately. That's not to say I wasn't inspired by anything else...I keep a folder on my computer filled with anything from simple yet effective typography to intricate pencil work and everything in-between...especially birds with mustaches.
