Lumpy Bits Interview

What is your favorite part about working in this medium?
I love the versatility of fabric, the way you can just cut up pieces of cloth, fur, anything, sew it together,
and stuff it, and you have something new, something much more interesting and fun than what you started with. I love bringing fabric to life.

What is your background?
I taught myself to sew when I was about 17 and have been sewing things ever since! I currently study sculpture at the University of Oklahoma and am incorporating plush into my work there as well.

Favorite crafty tool?
Hands down, a curved upholstery needle. It's definitely my favorite for hand sewing on eyelids or anything else!

Favorite fall activity?
Playing in leaves haha. And going on nice walks, I love getting to wear hoodies!
