Meet the couple behind Dolls for Friends!

Tell my readers a bit about yourself
We are Erin and Jill Lynch, of Dolls for Friends. We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, and have been creating plush for five years now! We enjoy drawing, reading, watching anything animated, and hanging out with our family and multiple animals.

What do you love most about making plush toys?
I think what we love so much about plush is seeing our illustrations come to life in 3D form! But of course, working to get that expression just right, the position of a body part that can change how the personality comes across...it's all those little things that come together and make a piece really come to life! And then, when you see the reaction to your work-maybe it's a little kid that is buying your work with their allowance, or when someone comes by your table just to pick up one of your pieces and hugs it...so, so awesome. So it's all of those reasons and more that makes plush so near and dear to us.

Is this your full time job?
Oh, I wish! Not at the moment, that would be a dream come true, really.

Did you do anything fun for the summer?
Hmmmmmm, summer? Did we have a summer here? Well we didn't do anything too exciting, but did make it to Canon Beach, which is always lovely. And we did welcome a new family member into our growing menagerie! Hobart is a golden retriever and a lovely little guy, so that has been pretty cool.
