Pepper Stitches Interview
Say hello the Pepper Stitches hailing all the way from Australia!
What is your favorite part about working in this medium?
Sourcing reclaimed textiles to cut up and rearrange into something new. And the ideas that turn into something you can hold in your hands and hug.
What is your background?
admin management and working with children, with a bit of retail, writing and study thrown in. I like doing interesting things, and that has led me different places, but now I create full time!
Favorite crafty tool?
My mug collection. It's not quite a crafty tool, but I love choosing a mug for the day, and sipping tea while I consider the next drawing or project. So that totally counts, right?

Favorite fall activity?
It's spring over here, and I love to go on picnics and read under a tree. In the fall I like collecting leaves, reading during storms and wearing socks. Oh and baking. Yes.
Did you have any inspiration behind the toys you are submitting for Plush You!?
I am going through a slight beard phase, if you couldn't tell. I also just returned from a trip to Denmarki, hence the viking and then got to thinking about historical and mythical awesomeness, hence merman. And really, merman are way too ace to be forgotten.
