ThEm DoLLz Interview
Say hello to Jen Musatto, creator of ThEm DoLLz!
What is your favorite part about working in this medium?
I love it because you can really see your ideas come to life, in 3D. Plus, it's so forgiving. If you make a mistake it's easy to fix or change. Actually, sometimes the mistakes turn out to be better than my original ideas. I don't use patterns so each one ends up different and has their own personality.

What is your background?
Well, I've always been artistic and crafty. Since birth, my mom says. Making things has always been a big part of my life. I learned how to sew when I was in elementary school . I would make tiny quilts for my baby dolls. In college I majored in art education. I didn't enjoy it though. The fundamentals didn't impress me much. I've always been a "fly by the seat of pants," type artist. Random, free-form art is where it's at. It's what I'm passionate about.
Favorite crafty tool?
There really is nothing like a freshly sharpened pair of scissors. I also love buttons. I could spend hours just looking at them. (and probably have)
Favorite fall activity?
I love Halloween! Weekly trips to costume shops are my fav. I also love hiking and biking when the leaves are changing.
Did you have any inspiration behind the toys you are submitting for Plush You!
Halloween costumes, Lollipops, and monsters
